Job summary

Suncorp Bank in New Zealand is seeking a Claims Consultant to support commercial customers through the claims journey, taking ownership from lodgement to resolution and balancing customer outcomes with policy governance.

You will build trusted relationships with customers, brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, make informed decisions, manage claim costs, and seek continuous improvements to processes and experiences.

As a Commercial Motor Claims Consultant, you'll play a critical role in supporting commercial customers through unexpected events, helping them navigate the claims process with confidence and care. This is far more than a traditional claims role. You'll take ownership of claims from start to finish, balancing customer advocacy, commercial outcomes, and sound decision-making to deliver the best possible experience.

Working closely with customers, brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you'll build trusted relationships and use your problem-solving skills to achieve fair, efficient, and customer-focused outcomes. What You'll Do
