Placements24 is seeking a diligent Site Engineer to oversee civil infrastructure projects around Queenstown. You will manage day-to-day site operations, ensure compliance with plans, specs, and safety standards, and act as the on-site technical liaison with contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of site engineering or construction management experience.
• Experience in road construction, earthworks or water infrastructure is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all civil engineering construction activities on-site.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Coordinate the work of subcontractors and manage site resources effectively.
• Conduct quality control inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain detailed site records, including daily progress reports, safety logs, and material requisitions.
