Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Northland is inviting applications for a Civil Engineering Graduate Programme starting February 2027. This two-year rotation provides hands-on experience, real responsibility and exposure to infrastructure projects that keep communities moving.

You'll rotate through different parts of the business with mentoring, focus on safety, teamwork and career development, on-site with experienced teams and a clear path to progression.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or diploma from a NZ-recognised tertiary institute, with graduation 2024–2026.
• New Zealand citizenship, Australian citizenship, or NZ permanent residency.
• Genuine interest in practical, hands-on, site-based contracting work.
• Proactive, organised and adaptable approach with a willingness to learn.
• Team-focused attitude and a strong interest in a long-term career in infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work on site with experienced teams on real civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

• Support project delivery through planning, coordination and day-to-day site activities.
