Clarkson Electrical - Christchurch, South Island
The Branch Lead - Christchurch Hub is a multi-discipline operational leadership role responsible for the day-to-day delivery of service operations across all Clarkson's service channels in the Christchurch region. This includes electrical, property, fuels, carwash, and Cowley/HVAC&R services. Unlike channel-specific Branch Lead roles, this position reflects the breadth of the Christchurch hub - requiring the ability to coordinate and lead across multiple technical disciplines simultaneously, ensuring all contractual SLAs and KPIs are met, teams are effectively managed, and clients receive consistent, high-quality service regardless of the service stream. This is a hands-on leadership role. The Branch Lead is expected to be present in the field, visible to clients and team members, and actively engaged in the day-to-day running of the Christchurch service operation.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day delivery of service operations across all Christchurch disciplines: electrical, property, fuels, carwash, and Cowley/HVAC&R
- Plan and schedule planned, reactive, and project works across all service streams each week - maximising efficient use of time and resources in line with client obligations and expectations
- Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, to a high standard, and on a first-time-fix basis wherever possible
- Manage and oversee sub-contractor performance across all disciplines, ensuring all work meets Clarkson's and client requirements
- Maintain accurate records of all changes and works across service streams, including documentation updates
- Ensure electrical registration and practising licences are current for all applicable team members, and that Cowley/HVAC&R certifications and requirements are actively managed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, codes, and standards across all service disciplines
- Lead and manage Christchurch-based technicians across all service disciplines - monitor performance, provide feedback, and support development
- Ensure full compliance with all Clarkson's and client HSSE policies, QMS, OH&S, and EMS frameworks across all service disciplines
- Manage service delivery across all disciplines in accordance with contract KPIs and client expectations
