Job summary

Higgins Auckland Chipsealing Crew is seeking an experienced Specialist Operator to safely run the bitumen sprayer and deliver high-quality surfacing across road maintenance projects. You will contribute to efficient operations and site safety while maintaining equipment and following best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a bitumen sprayer in chipsealing or road surfacing projects.
• Hold a current Class 4 driver licence; Class 5 is advantageous.
• Endorsements such as WTR (water, etc.) are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate the bitumen sprayer on various road maintenance and construction sites.
• Ensure accurate product application and quality surfacing outcomes.
• Maintain and service the equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project schedules and safety standards.
