Job summary

The Isaac Construction Co Limited in Timaru is seeking a hands-on Sprayer Operator to apply bitumen and emulsion as part of surfacing and rehabilitation projects on South Canterbury IDC roads.

You will operate chip sealing sprayer, set up spray patterns, coordinate with crew, and uphold health and safety standards while working outdoors in varied weather. Permanent, 40 hours per week, with ongoing training and career progression; NZ Class 2 licence and right to work required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating chip sealing sprayer in civil surfacing environments.
• Ability to read job specifications and spot hazards.
• Able to work as part of a crew and follow site supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate chip sealing sprayer to apply bitumen and emulsion safely and effectively.
• Set up spray patterns, application rates and widths per project specs.
• Coordinate with crew, rollers, pavers and traffic management on site.
• Promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture and follow control measures.
