Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd in Auckland is seeking a Chip Sealing Specialist Operator to join our surfacing team. You’ll operate chip sealing machinery, support safe road sealing works, and help deliver durable, safer roads for communities.

This is a hands-on outdoor role with an experienced crew across Auckland. You’ll operate bitumen sprayers, chip spreaders and rollers, while helping prepare sites and deliver sealing work to the required standard.

Qualifications

• Experience operating chip sealing plant and equipment.
• Current Class 2 licence with WTR.
• Reliability and teamwork with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate chip sealing plant and equipment including bitumen sprayers, chip spreaders and rollers.
• Prepare worksites and support the crew to deliver sealing works safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Apply bitumen and aggregate to the correct standard while monitoring quality on site.
• Inspect, clean and maintain equipment to keep it safe, reliable and ready for use.
• Work safely around live traffic, hot materials and changing site conditions, following all Fulton Hogan safety requirements.
