Future Hospitality Group in Queenstown is seeking a passionate and reliable Chef to join the odd saint kitchen. You will bring a solid foundation of professional kitchen skills and a strong willingness to learn, with a view to developing into a section-lead role.

The role offers opportunities to work closely with Head/Sous Chefs, maintain high food standards, and contribute to a positive kitchen culture while ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Some previous experience working in a professional kitchen.
• A good foundation of kitchen skills and a willingness to learn.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliability and clear communication.
• The ability to work well in a fast-paced service environment.
• A team-first mindset.
• Pride in your work and a genuine desire to develop as a chef.

Responsibilities

• Work confidently as part of the kitchen team, with ownership as your skills develop.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Stay organised and prepared during busy service periods.
• Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and wider kitchen team.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional kitchen culture.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and health & safety standards at all times.
• Take an active approach to learning and developing your skills.
