Job summary

Skyline in Queenstown is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchens. You will assist with day-to-day operations, support junior staff, and take full responsibility for your section in a fast-paced, diverse team.

The perfect candidate will have 3+ years of kitchen experience or a relevant qualification, a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering fantastic service while upholding high food safety standards.

Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic Chefs to assist with the day-to-day operations of our kitchens. Excellent communication skills, culinary creativity and the ability to thrive in a large, diverse team are essential. As a Chef de Partie, you will be able to work un-supervised, support junior staff and take full responsibility of your assigned section.

The perfect candidate will bring/be:

• 3+ years of kitchen experience or relevant qualification,
• a “can do” attitude and excellent communication skills,
• a passion for providing fantastic service and a genuine interest to work in the hospitality industry,
• able to produce a quality product and maintain a high level of food safety and hygiene.

This role offers:

• $32 - $34 gross per hour with 30-50 hours per week guaranteed,
