Job summary

Skyline is seeking an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to assist with daily kitchen operations in Queenstown, New Zealand. You will work unsupervised, support junior staff, and take full responsibility for your section while maintaining high food safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of kitchen experience or a relevant qualification, plus a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills, as well as a genuine passion for hospitality and delivering fantastic service.

Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic Chefs to assist with the day-to-day operations of our kitchens. Excellent communication skills, culinary creativity and the ability to thrive in a large, diverse team are essential. As a Chef de Partie, you will be able to work un-supervised, support junior staff and take full responsibility of your assigned section.

The perfect candidate will bring/be:

• 3+ years of kitchen experience or relevant qualification,
• a “can do” attitude and excellent communication skills,
• a passion for providing fantastic service and a genuine interest to work in the hospitality industry,
• able to produce a quality product and maintain a high level of food safety and hygiene.

This role offers:

• $32 - $34 gross per hour with 30-50 hours per week guaranteed,
