Job summary

The New Zealand Customs Service is seeking a proactive Change Advisor to support the eGate Replacement Project across NZ airports. You’ll lead business readiness activities, engage stakeholders, and coordinate training and communications to ensure smooth adoption of new biometric technology.

Based in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin or Wellington, you’ll travel domestically across the programme lifecycle, working with operations teams to deploy and sustain the new system.

Qualifications

• Hands-on change management experience in large projects.
• Ability to build credible relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to audiences.
• Comfort with maintaining records and reporting.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change.
• Experience supporting deployments, training or business readiness is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Support business readiness activities for the eGate Replacement Project.
• Engage stakeholders and coordinate communications and training support.
• Contribute to implementation planning and go-live readiness.
• Perform deployment activities to support go-live and Early Life Support.
• Build relationships and work across multiple workstreams to deliver outcomes.
