About this role

| Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
This is an opportunity to be part of a nationally significant programme that will help shape the future of New Zealand's border operations. As Change Advisor, you'll support the delivery of the eGate Replacement Project, a major technology transformation introducing modern biometric solutions across New Zealand's international airports.

Working closely with the Change Specialist and a wide range of operational stakeholders, you'll help prepare people for change through business readiness activities, stakeholder engagement, communications, training support, and implementation planning. You will carry out deployment activities to support go-live and Early Life Support, playing an important role in ensuring new technology is successfully adopted across the business.

This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organised, and working across multiple workstreams to deliver successful outcomes.

The role can be based in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin or Wellington. Regular domestic travel will be required throughout the project lifecycle, particularly during deployment and support phases. Travel will include time spent at New Zealand's international airports, working alongside operational teams to support implementation activities and the successful adoption of the new eGate technology.
The salary range for this position is $96,176 to $124,015, with a midpoint of $110,421 per annum.

You enjoy coordinating multiple activities, keeping things on track, and finding practical solutions to support successful delivery. Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team, you're adaptable, detail-oriented, and motivated by contributing to meaningful organisational change.

You will also bring:

  • The ability to build effective relationships and engage confidently with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Experience supporting deployments, implementations, training, or business readiness activities would be advantageous.
