Evolve Education Group’s Active Explorers Nelson Street in New Zealand invites you to lead a dedicated team in a purpose-built centre that celebrates partnerships, pūrākau, history and hands-on learning. Share the responsibility of delivering an inclusive curriculum and strong school transitions while supporting families and tamariki.

As Centre Manager, you’ll be highly visible, build positive relationships with whānau and kaiako, and influence occupancy, compliance and engagement.

Qualifications

• ECE qualification and full teaching registration.
• Experience in a Centre Manager role within ECE.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with whānau and kaiako.

Impactful leadership opportunity at Active Explorers Nelson Street, where you'll lead a dedicated team within a purpose-built centre that celebrates diversity, embraces community partnerships, and delivers a localised curriculum rich in pūrākau, history, and hands-on learning experiences. From Matariki celebrations and community outings to vibrant outdoor learning spaces and strong school transition programmes, this is a centre deeply connected to the families it serves.

As the face of our Centre, you'll be accessible and visible, and your open and positive communication will shape relationships with whanau and kaiako - positively impacting our reputation in the local community.

Working closely with your Area Manager, you will build a culture of positivity and success in the Centre, strengthening team engagement and retention. Your support will enable your team to work collaboratively, achieving both educational and operational objectives. Your judgement and leadershipwill motivate and inspire your people to deliver exceptional early childcare education (ECE) services to tamariki and their whanau.

• You are ECE Qualified and hold Full Teaching Registration.
• You have demonstrated experience in a Centre Manager role and understand what it takes to run a successful ECE Centre.
