Lower Hutt Playcentre is seeking a part-time Centre Coordinator in Wellington to lead and support whānau to deliver child-centered, whānau-led sessions consistent with Playcentre Philosophy.
You will provide pedagogical guidance, build strong relationships and ensure sessions meet regulatory requirements while promoting Te Tiriti o Waitangi within the learning environment.
9.75 hours per week | Part-time | Starting 12 October 2026
Working in collaboration with centre whānau and other centre support staff, the Centre Coordinator focuses on building adult capability and confidence.
As the Person Responsible on session, this role provides high quality support and pedagogical guidance to Playcentre whānau. The Centre Coordinator ensures sessions and programmes reflect Playcentre Philosophy and enriches children’s learning and development.
