Porangahau Playcentre in Hawke's Bay is seeking a part-time Centre Coordinator to work with whānau and support staff. The role focuses on building adult capability, delivering high-quality, whānau-led sessions, and ensuring Playcentre philosophy is reflected in every session.
You will guide curriculum, health and safety, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi commitments, while modelling best practice and fostering strong relationships.

About the role
Working in collaboration with centre whānau and other centre support staff, the Centre Coordinator focuses on building adult capability and confidence.
As the Person Responsible on session, this role provides high quality support and pedagogical guidance to Playcentre whānau. The Centre Coordinator ensures sessions and programmes reflect Playcentre Philosophy and enriches children’s learning and development.
