Job summary

SGS is seeking Casual Plant and Terminal Operators in Dunedin to assist with bunker operations for vessels at the Port and to discharge fuel tankers into Oil Industry Terminal tanks. The role involves manual handling up to 25 kg and outdoor work in all weather with varying shift patterns, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Candidates should be locally based, able to work flexibly on short notice, and prepared to follow strict health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Pass a drug screening and MOJ process.
• Must hold a current NZ driver’s licence.
• Forklift licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bunker operations for vessels at the port.
• Discharging fuel tankers into Oil Industry Terminal tanks.
• Other duties as required with the right skills and positive attitude.
• Manual handling up to 25 kg; outdoor work in all weather.
• Vessels can arrive any time, so flexibility is essential.
