Job summary

SGS New Zealand is seeking responsible casual Plant and Terminal Operators in New Plymouth to support the safe and efficient movement of bulk liquids through our terminal operations.

You will load and unload a wide range of liquids, follow procedures, complete records, and assist with other terminal activities. The role requires working day, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts, in all weather conditions, with safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload bulk liquids across vessels such as fuels, chemicals, and crude oil.
• Follow established operating procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Complete operational documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Support other terminal activities as required.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and undertake manual handling.
