Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in New Zealand invites a Casual Programme Assistant to join our afternoons team at the Ōhope site. You'll support tamariki with a range of fun, safe activities and help create memorable morning or afternoon sessions for children.

This reliever role offers flexible hours (2:30pm–6:00pm with potential school holiday hours) and no weekend work. You’ll collaborate with the Programme Manager to keep sessions lively and well-supported, while maintaining safe, tidy spaces.

Qualifications

• Right to work in New Zealand (visa or citizenship).
• Reliable, energetic and passionate about working with kids.

• Helping the Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing.
• Spotting hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and reporting to the manager.

Job description

As a Casual Programme Assistant , you'll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and/or afternoons unforgettable for children! You'll be working mainly in the afternoons.

Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm-6.00pm. Availability from 2.30pm is essential , though finish times may vary.

Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).

This is a reliever role, so you'll be rostered on an "as required" basis - perfect if you're after flexibility while still making a big impact.
