Job summary

sKids is seeking a Casual Programme Assistant to support after-school and holiday programmes in Queenstown. You’ll work mainly in the afternoons (2.30pm–6.00pm) as a reliever, with potential holiday hours (7am–6pm).

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in New Zealand (visa or citizenship).
• Must be able to travel to Queenstown, Remarkables and Shotovers locations with reliable transport.
• Enthusiastic about working with children, from babysitting to coaching or volunteering.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Tamariki in fun, safe activities.
• Keep spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children.
• Assist Programme Manager to run smooth, energetic sessions.
• Spot any issues (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and report to manager.

Job Description

As a Casual Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and/or afternoons unforgettable for children! You’ll be working mainly in the afternoons.

• Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm.Availability from 2.30pm is essential, though finish times may vary.
• Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).

This is a reliever role, so you’ll be rostered on an “as required” basis – perfect if you’re after flexibility while still making a big impact.

Qualifications
