sKids in New Zealand is hiring a Casual Programme Assistant to help supervise Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities at Queenstown sites.

You’ll mainly work afternoons (2.30pm–6.00pm) with potential holiday hours; this reliever role offers flexibility, a friendly team, staff discounts, referral bonuses, and wellbeing support to our people.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in New Zealand (visa or citizenship).
• Able to get to Queenstown and nearby sites with reliable transport.
• Experience with children and ability to actively engage them.
• Reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities
• Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children
• Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing
• Spotting hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager so everyone stays supported

Job Description

As a Casual Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and/or afternoons unforgettable for children! You’ll be working mainly in the afternoons.

• Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm.Availability from 2.30pm is essential, tho finish times may vary.
• Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).

This is a reliever role, so you’ll be rostered on an “as required” basis – perfect if you’re after flexibility while still making a big impact.

Qualifications

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship)
• Can get to Queenstown, Remarkables and Shotoversite(s) with reliable transportation and/or a vehicle
• Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts!
• Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special
