Ministry of Justice (New Zealand) Wellington High Court is seeking an experienced scheduler to manage fixtures and court timetables. The role focuses on creating and maintaining schedules, allocating courtrooms, and coordinating with Caseflow Managers to optimise judicial resources.
The successful candidate will support daily court operations, resolve scheduling issues, and promote efficient use of resources while developing professional capabilities within the Ministry.
We are looking for an experienced caseload professional to join our High Court tīma. This is an exciting time to join, as you will play a pivotal role with us implementing new ways of operating across New Zealand. The role is based at the Wellington High Court.
We are looking for someone with significant experience managing fixtures, and with scheduling attention to detail. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining court schedules to meet expected workload across High Courts in the region. This includes allocating courtrooms, working with the Caseflow Manager on the allocation of Judicial resource, co-ordinating daily operations of courts regarding scheduling needs, resolving issues, promoting the efficient use of judicial resources, and liaising with the Caseflow Managers on scheduling issues.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $67,066 and $85,567 based on skills and experience.
