Job summary

MCH Aviation NZ Limited – Auckland airport, North Island, is seeking an experienced Sales Support / Customer Services Executive for our GSSA Delta Cargo in Auckland. You will build strong client relationships, manage bookings, and work with Airlines and GHA to ensure shipments depart smoothly.

Ideal candidates will bring aviation/logistics and sales experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with airline systems; rights to work in New Zealand permanently is assumed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Aviation, Logistics, Sales or Customer Service preferred.
• Strong communication with customers, vendors and sales teams.
• Proficiency in airline bookings and systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients; identify new opportunities.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned portfolio; conduct regular reviews.
• Plan and execute sales and business development activities with sales/product teams.
• Handle warehouse operational matters as Airlines' representative.
• Coordinate with Airlines' vendor and GHA to ensure loading instructions and readiness.

MCH Aviation NZ Limited is seeking an experienced Sales Support / Customer Services Executive mainly for our GSSA - Delta Cargo at Auckland Office. This role will see you utilising your positive attitude and friendly nature in building robust and valuable working relationships all the while owning and going above and beyond to drive results in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with all clients and effectively use available resources to identify new opportunities
• Act as primary day-to-day point of contact for your designated portfolio of clients. Have regular communications/business review meetings with Customers and proactively give feedback to internal stakeholders/colleagues, to continuously improve the service quality committed to the Customers
• Be closely involved in joint planning & execution of Sales & business development activities in liaison with Sales / Key Product Managers. Support the development and implementation of effective sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets
• Attending to all operational matters in the warehouse as Airlines' representative
• Liaison with Airlines' vendor, Ground Handling Agent (GHA) to ensure loading instructions are observed and shipments are ready to load for departure, complying to Airlines' specification and requirements
• Proficient in making bookings in Airline system/s
• Post flight operational activities including coordination on offload and rebooking
• Manage all services and operational inquiries until closure in timely manner
• Maintain and update systems and reports including electronic database
• Focus on Developing new business and delivering on category growth. Identify and target potential clients in the sector

About you

• Passionate in Aviation, Logistics, Sales / Business Development and Customer Service in a team environment
• Relevant prior Sales & Customer Service experience in the Airline / Air Cargo Industry preferred
• Strong communication skills with customers (freight forwarders), vendors (Airlines and GHA) and front-line sales team
• Proficient in making bookings in Airline system/s (Preferable)
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to deal with time pressure, accuracy and precision
• Proficient PC skills including the use of Excel, Power Point etc.
• Rights to work in New Zealand permanently
• Demonstrated ability in the planning and execution of sales and business development activities
• Adaptable & positive mindset to change & customer needs
