Job summary

Heritage Lifecare's Redroofs Lifecare in Dunedin is seeking a Caregiver to provide compassionate care to residents in a warm, welcoming environment.

Permanent full-time role (32 hours or more per week) with AM, PM and weekend shifts. You will support daily living activities, communicate well, and follow health and safety procedures. Applicants must have NZQA Health & Wellbeing or equivalent and a genuine desire to help others.

Qualifications

• Minimum NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent New Zealand or overseas qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma in Nursing)
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine love for helping people, excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
• A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents in a 50-bed aged care home.
• Support daily living activities with warmth, patience and kindness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care.

Your Skills And Experience
