Job summary

Summerset Retirement Villages in Cambridge is seeking a caregiver to join our care team. You will work as part of a team to provide personal care, assist residents with daily living activities and support mealtimes in a warm village environment.

The role is casual with shifts across AM, PM and nights, on a as-needed basis. We welcome compassionate individuals who enjoy building relationships and delivering quality care to older residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or a similar role.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Commitment to varying shifts, sometimes on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes.
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering.
• Assisting with individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises.
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis, etc.

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Cambridge village, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical Duties Include

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

This is a Casual role. Working on an as and when needed basis (Shifts when required will be across, AM, PM and nights).
