Job summary

Summerset Palms Village is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join a supportive team delivering personal care to residents. You will assist with meals, hygiene and daily activities while following individual care plans and safety protocols.

We value empathy, reliability and strong communication, with a rotating 4-on/2-off roster across AM/PM shifts. This full-time position offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to advance qualifications.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, kind and patient with a caring nature.
• Experience in aged care or a similar role.
• Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts.
• Ability to work a 4 days on/2 days off pattern.

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Summerset Palms Village,you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes


• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering


• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises


• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

This position is rostered on a 4 days on, 2 days off pattern on AM and PM shifts, working between 60 - 80 hours per fortnight.

Qualifications

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care or a similar role


• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships


• Commitmentto a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts


• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off
