Job summary

Asahi Beverages seeks a Capital Project Manager to drive critical capital engineering projects across NZ sites, with a focus on planning, procurement, commissioning and handover. This newly created role supports our Papakura manufacturing facility and broader supply chain operations.

You will lead multiple projects, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with contractors and internal teams to deliver on scope and budget while continuously improving planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher engineering degree relevant to capital projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading capital engineering projects in manufacturing/ logistics settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of capital projects including scoping, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with focus on timelines, budgets and resources.
• Write scopes, specs and project documentation with clear technical details.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across sites with proactive communication.
