Job summary

SeaLink NZ in Auckland is seeking a part-time Capability & Organisational Development Advisor to work with the Chief People Officer and the People & Culture team. You will drive learning, leadership development, employee engagement and culture initiatives to strengthen leadership and team effectiveness.

You will design practical tools, support employee experience programmes, and help translate our values into actionable initiatives across SeaLink sites.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in HR, OD, psychology, business or related discipline.
• 4+ years’ experience across organisational development, learning, leadership development, employee experience and engagement.
• Experience designing and delivering learning, organisational development, engagement initiatives.
• Experience developing clear and engaging internal communications for different employee audiences.
• Strong facilitation capability and confidence delivering workshops.
• Experience working with leaders to understand needs and develop practical solutions.
• Ability to travel across SeaLink sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief People Officer with the delivery of SeaLink's people, capability, culture and employee experience priorities.
• Design, coordinate, deliver and embed learning, leadership and capability initiatives aligned with identified business needs.
• Work with leaders to understand learning and capability needs and develop practical solutions that support individual and team performance.
• Deliver engaging workshops, leadership programmes and development activities that build capability across the business.
• Coordinate and deliver employee engagement activities, including surveys, action planning and initiatives that strengthen connection.
• Support internal communications, developing clear, timely and engaging people communications.
• Manage and continually improve established people programmes and activities including Recognition & Reward, Employee Experience Network Group, surveys and action planning.
• Provide practical coaching, guidance, tools and resources to help leaders build capability.
