Tiaki Wai is seeking an experienced People and Capability Manager to provide high-quality strategic and operational HR advice to the Alliance in Wellington, NZ. You will lead people and culture strategies to elevate capability and sit on the Alliance Management Team, ensuring people remain central to programme decisions.

You will partner with senior leaders, support boards, and drive organisational development, culture initiatives, and change across Fulton Hogan and Tiaki Wai.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in HR or related business field.
• Experience partnering and coaching senior leaders and boards.
• Experience leading organisational development, change management, and culture initiatives.
• Strong understanding of employment legislation and people practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead a small People and Capability team.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Alliance, the strategy, business objectives, challenges, and risks.
• Coach and support people leaders to chart the best course of action, understanding impact and risks of actions.
• Ensure initiatives within the Alliance align with Tiaki Wai.
• Understand strategic direction of Fulton Hogan and Tiaki Wai, particularly around the three waters, and how the Alliance fits.
• Champion the Alliance Values and Behaviours.
• Collaborate on organisational change initiatives with consideration for both organisations.
• Coach managers through employment relations processes from start to finish.
• Liaise with union representatives on employment relations cases.
