Fulton Hogan - in partnership with Tiaki Wai - seeks an experienced People and Capability Manager to provide strategic and operational HR advice for the Alliance. You will guide people strategy, lead a small team, and ensure people remain central to decision-making while aligning with broader organisational goals.

You will coach leaders, manage employment relations, and partner with boards to drive performance, culture, and capability across the programme.

Qualifications

• HR Business Partner or HR Leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and people practices
• Proven people leadership experience
• Experience partnering and coaching senior leaders and engaging with boards
• Experience leading organisational development, change management, and culture initiatives
• Exceptional coaching, communication and relationship-building skills
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
• Experience developing and implementing people strategies that drive business outcomes
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or similar
• Passion for creating positive workplace cultures where people thrive

Responsabilités

• Lead a small People and Capability team
• Develop and maintain deep understanding of the Alliance, strategy, objectives, challenges and risks
• Coach and support people leaders to understand actions and risks
• Ensure initiatives align with Tiaki Wai and Fulton Hogan
• Understand strategic and operational direction around three waters and how the Alliance fits
• Champion the Alliance Values and Behaviours
• Collaborate on organisational change initiatives with mindful impact
• Coach managers through employment relations processes from start to finish
• Liaise with union representatives on ER cases involving members
