Job summary

Summerset invites a friendly Café Assistant to join the Boulcott Village café, delivering warm service to residents, families and visitors. You’ll create coffee and cabinet food experiences in a welcoming, community-focused setting.

Your day-to-day includes preparing and serving food and drinks, assisting with village events, and handling cash and daily takings with care. This casual role is on an 'as and when' basis, with uniform provided and opportunities to grow in hospitality.

Job Description

We’re now looking for a Café Assistant for our Boulcott Village who shares our love for people and hospitality.

You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our café. From making great coffee to creating tasty cabinet food and light meals, you’ll help make our café a warm and welcoming place for residents, their families, and visitors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, presenting, and serving food and drinks to a high standard
• Assisting with catering for village events and resident functions
• Handling cash and reconciling daily takings

You’ll work closely with the Chef Manager, Café Supervisor, and wider village team to deliver a café experience that’s welcoming, consistent, and genuinely enjoyable.

This is a casual role, working on an 'as and when' required basis.
