Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a part-time butcher at PAK’nSAVE Tamatea in Hawke’s Bay. The role covers 28 hours weekly with a schedule across Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, in a fast-paced meat department focused on quality cuts and great value.

You will maintain displays, rotate stock, support stock levels, assist customers, and help with meat packing as needed. A weekend day work requirement and NZ work rights apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a weekend day each week.
• Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Adherence to strict food safety and health & safety policies.
• Experience in production in a high-volume FMCG/retail environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE;

Our Butchery is renowned for providing customers with high quality cuts of meat at great value for money and with friendly personable service. It's a very fast-paced environment with the department processing tonnes of product every week!You'll join a team committed to maintaining quality meat cuts and top presentation standards to our valued customers.

This role is part time, working 28 hours per week on the following roster:

Monday: 7am - 3:30pmTuesday: 1pm - 5pm
Friday: 8:30am - 5pm
Saturday: 8:30am - 5pm

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining our high merchandising standards in the meat cases
• Rotation of stock & quality checks
• Working with department leaders to ensure stock levels are maintained
• Interacting with customers and assisting them with queries
• Assist with meat packing when required
