Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a part-time butcher at PAK’nSAVE Tamatea in Hawke’s Bay. The role covers 28 hours weekly with a schedule across Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, in a fast-paced meat department focused on quality cuts and great value.

You will maintain displays, rotate stock, support stock levels, assist customers, and help with meat packing as needed. A weekend day work requirement and NZ work rights apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a weekend day each week.
• Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Adherence to strict food safety and health & safety policies.
• Experience in production in a high-volume FMCG/retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high merchandizing standards in the meat cases.
• Rotation of stock and quality checks.
• Working with department leaders to ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Interacting with customers and assisting them with queries.
• Assist with meat packing when required.
