Job summary

PAK'nSAVE Tauriko, part of Foodstuffs North Island, is seeking motivated, reliable, and hardworking Part-Time Meat Packers to join our busy butchery department in Tauranga. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality products and service.

As a Meat Packer, you will pack and present fresh meat to a high standard, label and price products, maintain cleanliness and food safety, and support daily operations with the butchery team. Early shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Be physically fit and capable of lifting and moving stock.
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Be committed to food safety, health and safety, and quality standards.
• Previous food handling or supermarket experience is advantageous but not essential.

About the Role

As a Meat Packer, you will be responsible for:

• Packing and presenting fresh meat products to a high standard
• Labelling and pricing products accurately
• Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
• Assisting with stock rotation and product presentation
• Supporting the Butchery team with daily operational tasks
• Ensuring customer service expectations are met
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Positions Available

Position 1

• Monday: 6:00am - 3:30pm
• Thursday: 6:00am - 3:30pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 3:30pm
• Saturday: 6:00am - 3:30pm

Position 2

• Monday: 6:00am - 3:30pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 3:30pm
• Saturday: 6:00am - 3:30pm

Both positions involve early morning starts, so reliability and punctuality are essential.
