Job summary

Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) is seeking an experienced Business Partner to support local businesses with growth, funding, and tailored banking solutions from the Highbrook Partners Centre, Auckland. You will build trusted relationships, understand clients’ goals, and identify opportunities to help them invest and navigate opportunities.

You will work closely with colleagues and specialists to deliver the best outcomes, representing BNZ in the local market through development activity and community

Qualifications

• Experience working with business customers in banking, finance, accounting, or a related commercial environment.
• Confidence interpreting financial information and understanding business lending needs.
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and long‑term value for customers.
• Proactive business development, networking, and identifying new opportunities.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with specialists and internal teams.
• Knowledge of banking products, business lending, markets, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with new and existing business customers, in office and in the local market.
• Building trusted relationships by understanding customer goals and challenges.
• Identifying new business opportunities through networking and local activity.
• Supporting customers with funding needs and business lending conversations to enable growth.
• Working with colleagues and specialists to deliver the right solutions.
