Job summary

Graeme Dingle Foundation in Albany (Auckland region) is seeking a highly organized Business Development & Events Coordinator to support corporate partnerships, fundraising campaigns, donor engagement and events. You will coordinate stakeholder engagement, manage supporter information in our CRM, assist with fundraising events and donor stewardship activities, and help identify new funding opportunities.

Business Development & Events Coordinator

Graeme Dingle Foundation – Albany, North Island

The Graeme Dingle Foundation has been helping tamariki and rangatahi overcome life’s obstacles and succeed for over 30 years. Founded in 1995 as the Project K Trust, the Foundation is a leader in child and youth development, providing young people with the opportunity to build self-confidence and resilience, learn valuable life skills and to see different possibilities in life. The Foundation runs a series of developmental programmes for ages 5 through to 24 years: Kiwi Can, Stars, Career Navigator and Project K.

The Role:

Join the Graeme Dingle Foundation and help create positive futures for young people across Aotearoa. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and relationship-focused coordinator to support corporate partnerships, fundraising campaigns, donor engagement and events.

In this varied role, you'll coordinate stakeholder engagement, manage supporter information through the CRM, assist with fundraising events, support donor stewardship activities and help identify new funding opportunities. You'll work closely with our national and regional teams to ensure strong supporter experiences and fundraising success.

More specifically you will work in conjunction with the business development, events and fundraising team on:

  • Proposal pitches and reporting documents
  • Attending sponsor meetings and keeping a record of outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with the marketing team on our events and partnerships as required
  • Supporting with organising of events
  • Maintaining an up to date CRM
  • Maintaining communications with individual donors

Skills and Experience:

We're looking for someone with excellent administration and project coordination skills, relationship focused, confident working with CRM systems, strong attention to detail and a proactive approach. This role is variable, so you should enjoy different challenges without needing a strict routine. However, you must have good time management and organisation skills to juggle the diverse range of tasks on hand.

  • Experience in business administration, fundraising, sponsorship, partnerships, events or the not-for-profit sector
  • Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM platform
  • Understanding of donor stewardship and relationship management principles.
