Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced recruiter to relocate from New Zealand to Brisbane and join our Construction and Engineering team. You’ll step into a warm desk with an established client base, active relationships and strong market demand, giving you the opportunity to hit the ground running while building your recruitment career in Australia.

You’ll focus on white-collar building and construction roles, manage a busy desk, develop new business, and grow your network in Brisbane.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting within construction, engineering, property, trades or related markets.
• Strong client and candidate relationship-building skills.
• Confidence in business development and generating opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit across white-collar building and construction roles.
• Manage and develop an established portfolio of clients.
• Build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Identify new business opportunities through targeted business development.
• Conduct market mapping and generate new leads.
• Develop long-term client and candidate relationships using Stellar’s network.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to placement.
• Work with civil, construction and engineering recruitment teams.
• Grow profile and network within the Brisbane market.
