Job summary

bStudio Ltd in Napier is seeking a permanent full-time Brewer/Brewery Operator to join our growing craft beer team on modern automated equipment. You will be integral to brewing and cellar operations and help ensure product quality and on-time production.

You will follow SOPs, maintain strict hygiene, complete production documentation, and work varied shifts including weekends. A collaborative mindset and willingness to train junior staff are essential in our close-knit team.

bStudio Ltd is an award-winning service provider to the craft beer and beverage industries, based in Napier. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality service and products to our customers.

We are seeking applications for a permanent full-time Brewer/Brewery Operator.

Our brewhouse and pack line are modern and automated, so we have a small operational team relative to our capacity. We work varying split shifts to ensure our work is completed on schedule and we can always do what is best for the beer.

Key Responsibilities

On the job training is provided. You will be expected to become proficient in all aspects of our brewing and cellar operations and to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.

The Following Are Requirements

• Understanding and upholding strict hygiene and food safety standards.
• Understanding and prioritising beer quality.
• Ensuring customer specifications are met.
• Accurately completing all production documentation.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist as required in any other tasks within the brewery: bStudio is one team.
• Be a responsible team member as regards health and safety.

Ideal attributes

Relevant brewing, beverage and/or other production experience will be highly regarded: we want someone who can quickly get up to speed with our systems, become a senior pair of eyes on shift to see and prevent problems before they happen, and assist in training and answering questions for junior staff.
