Job summary

Emirates Lounge at Auckland Airport is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead breakfast service, prepare and present high-quality dishes, and support a premium lounge experience for international travellers. This permanent role requires availability on weekends and offers 30 hours per week.

• NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery or equivalent trade qualification.
• NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items including meat, seafood, vegetables, and plated dishes.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards, including cleaning and waste handling.
• Receive, store, and rotate supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Coach team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing kitchen team.
