Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour is seeking a Part-Time Demi Chef de Partie to join our esteemed kitchen team. You will assist senior chefs and contribute to delivering exquisite, luxury dining experiences for our guests.

The role requires a minimum of two years' commercial cookery experience and a Level 5 Diploma in Professional Cookery. Flexibility for weekends/public holidays and the ability to stand for an 8-hour shift are essential, with opportunities to develop within Sofitel’s renowned

Qualifications

• Two years of commercial cookery experience in a similar role.
• Strong focus on quality, presentation and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist Jr. Sous Chef and Executive Sous Chef; operate a section of kitchen.
• Organise section to run efficiently and productively.
• Ensure food produced aligns with recipes and standards.
• Prepare and cook orders with urgency; maintain hygiene and cleanliness.
• Monitor food quality, wastage and cost controls.
