Job summary

Join Mico Pukekohe, New Zealand’s leading plumbing distributor, as Branch Manager. Lead a close-knit team, drive results, and shape the future of a community-focused branch.

You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, develop your people, manage budgets and targets, build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and lead change with empathy. This permanent, full-time role is 40 hours per week Mon–Fri, with occasional Saturday work and after-hours on-call responsibilities.

Mico is New Zealand’s largest plumbing distributor, providing customers with the products, advice, and support that they need to help keep New Zealand flowing and we're looking for a confident and collaborative Branch Manager to lead our close-knit team at Mico Pukekohe.

What the Role Looks Like:

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll develop and support your team creating a positive and inclusive culture and ensure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Encouraging and enabling your team to do their best work every day
• Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Overseeing branch operations and supporting the achievement of financial goals
• Leading and embedding change with care and clear communication
• Planning for success through thoughtful, strategic decision-making

About You:

You’re a confident and approachable leader who values connection, purpose, and results. Ideally, you’ll bring experience from the trade, B2B, or related industries, but just as important is your ability to lead with empathy and clarity.

This is a Permanent full-time role offering 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work when required and includes business-critical after-hours on-call responsibilities.
