Job summary

Westpac Taumarunui/Tokoroa Bank Manager position leads two branches with travel between locations. You will drive people, customer outcomes, and community impact while managing performance and relationships.

The role reports to the Regional Manager and requires leadership across personal, business banking and wealth segments, while supporting a diverse team of banking advisers and customer service staff.

Qualifications

• Proven recent experience as a successful leader in a banking/financial services setting.
• Strong interpersonal, networking and communication skills essential for stakeholder engagement.
• Solid understanding of the local area and ability to coach and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Lead Taumarunui and Tokoroa branches, with travel between locations.
• Develop, motivate and manage branch teams to achieve performance targets.
• Build relationships with customers, staff, business partners and the wider community.
