Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Bank Manager to lead both Taumarunui and Tokoroa branches. You can be based at either location, with regular travel between branches to support customers and teams.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll drive performance, coach staff, and deliver outstanding customer experiences across personal, business, and wealth banking.

You’ll build strong relationships, navigate local communities, and contribute to Westpac’s purpose of creating better futures.

Formación

• Proven recent experience as a successful leader in banking.
• Strong interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated experience in leading change.
• Commitment to coaching and developing others.
• Solid understanding of Taumarunui and Tokoroa areas (local knowledge).
• Tertiary qualification in Business (preferred).
• FA qualification (desired).

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll be responsible for the development, leadership, and performance of your branches. You’ll build strong relationships both inside and outside the bank, helping drive business success and customer loyalty. You’ll also play a key role in shaping how we connect — through our spaces, technology, and capability — to deliver outstanding experiences for customers, staff, business partners, and the wider community.

You’ll lead a diverse team of Banking Advisers and Customer Service Representatives, supporting them to meet every customer’s needs across personal banking, business banking, and wealth.
