Job summary

Hall’s Cold Chain Logistics in Blenheim is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our South Island operation and drive performance, culture and development.

You will lead day-to-day operations, coach the Blenheim team, maintain safety and service standards, and collaborate with the wider Hall’s network to ensure seamless freight movement and excellent customer outcomes.

Job description

Lead one of Hall’s key South Island operations.

Hall’s is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Blenheim operation and drive the performance, culture and continued development of this important part of our national network.

Blenheim plays an important role in connecting freight between the North and South Islands. This is a hands on leadership opportunity with real scope to influence people, operational performance, customer outcomes and future capability.

The role

As Branch Manager, you will lead the day to day operation of the branch, creating a high-performing environment where safety, service, accountability and people development are at the forefront.

You will be responsible for:

• Lead, coach and develop the Blenheim team


• Drive operational performance against agreed KPIs


• Build a strong, engaged and accountable workplace culture


• Support excellent customer service and strong customer relationships


• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, capability and performance


• Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and operational delivery


• Work closely with the wider Hall’s network to support seamless freight movement and service

About you

You will be an experienced operational leader who is comfortable taking ownership, leading from the front and bringing out the best in people.

You will bring:

• Strong people leadership and team development capability


• Experience in transport, logistics, warehousing or a similar operational environment


• A strong focus on safety, service and operational performance


• Commercial awareness and confidence working with performance measures and KPIsi>
