Job summary

Tradestaff is seeking an experienced Boat Builder to join a skilled team on the North Shore, Auckland. If you have a passion for marine construction and enjoy delivering high-quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.

Start date is immediate, with pay rate up to NZD 45 per hour, weekly pay, and KiwiSaver. This role offers the chance to work on premium marine projects within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Boat Builder.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and fit high-quality components on a range of vessels.
• Complete timber joinery, interior fit-outs, and marine installations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install components with precision.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Work closely with the wider team to deliver projects on time.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

• Full Class 1 Driver Licence preferred
