Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced LBP Qualified Builder to work across a wide range of practical and interesting building projects. This hands-on role suits a professional who enjoys problem-solving, variety, and responsibility, and who can work independently or with skilled crews.

You'll be trusted to manage your workload, travel for work as needed, and apply strong knowledge of NZ building standards and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Current LBP licence.
• Proven experience as a qualified builder (residential essential).
• Independent decision-making on site.
• Strong knowledge of NZ building standards and safety practices.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, professional, calm, and practical attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support house removal crews with building works.
• Prepare and reinstate houses, villas, and bungalows for relocation.
• House repiling and lifting projects.
• Renovation and remediation work on relocated homes.
• New build and finishing work where required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

About You:

• A current LBP licence

• Physical fitness and comfort working outdoors in all conditions
