Job summary

Active Talent is seeking a trade-qualified Builder to join our Oamaru team to construct high-quality bespoke homes. You will perform carpentry from framing to finishing, read plans, and collaborate with a supportive crew dedicated to quality craftsmanship.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, in Oamaru, with NZ residential building experience and a current NZ LBP (working towards). We offer relocation support, company vehicle, tool allowance and career growth.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Carpentry with a current LBP (working towards).
• Residential building experience in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Build quality new homes across a variety of bespoke residential projects.
• Complete carpentry work from framing through finishing.
• Read plans and carry out work efficiently and accurately.
• Work with a team committed to quality craftsmanship.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and professional worksite.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building quality new homes across a variety of bespoke residential projects.

• Maintaining a safe, tidy and professional worksite.

About You

• Trade qualification in Carpentry with a current LBP (working towards)
• Residential building experience in New Zealand.
• Understanding of NZ residential construction and build sequencing.
• Excellent organisation, planning skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a good sense of humour.
• A full NZ Driver License.
