Job summary

Built Environs in Auckland is seeking a Pre Construction Lead to join our New Business team. You will manage all aspects of company and joint venture tenders from launch to submission, ensuring strategies, programmes, budgets and governance support successful outcomes.

You will own the development of clear, compliant submissions that respond to client requirements, lead tender interviews and clarifications, and coordinate with leadership on pipeline and opportunity reporting.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in construction or engineering.
• Experience leading complex tenders, bids or submissions under deadline.
• Strong governance, risk, estimating, programme, design and commercial interfaces.
• Experience administering a CRM or opportunity pipeline system; Greenhouse preferred.
• Excellent planning, facilitation and organisational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholder management.
• Commercial awareness and client-focused mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of tenders and joint venture bids from launch to submission and clarification.
• Establish bid strategy, programme, budget, deliverables, governance plan and monitor performance.
• Lead development of clear, compliant submissions that respond to client requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Own and administer Greenhouse for Built Environs, ensuring opportunities, stages, values, probabilities, dates, contacts and actions are accurate.
• Prepare regular pipeline, tender status and opportunity reports for leadership review.
• Develop productive relationships with clients, consultants, partners and supply chain to strengthen pipeline.
• Lead tender interviews, clarifications and post-tender negotiations with business leaders.
• Arrange client and internal debriefs; record lessons learned and implement improvements.
