Job summary

DIALOG Fitzroy Ltd is seeking a commercially minded Tendering and Bid Lead to own the end-to-end bid process from opportunity through submission. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams to craft high-quality, compliant proposals that demonstrate value and capture opportunity in the New Plymouth base.

You will develop strategies, collaborate with project managers, estimators, engineers and specialists, and manage pricing, methodologies and governance to mitigate risk and improve win

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tendering, bid management, proposal writing, business development, or a related field.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional written communication and document development capabilities.
• Experience working with CRM systems and opportunity pipeline management.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of contractual and operational requirements.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end tender process, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant bids.
• Develop winning proposal strategies and compelling customer-focused submissions that demonstrate capabilities and value.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, engineers, and specialists to develop pricing, methodologies, and plans.
• Manage tender governance processes, addressing contractual, commercial, and delivery risks.
• Monitor tender performance, gather feedback, and drive improvements in bid quality.
• Own and maintain the CRM system, pipelines, reporting, and lead management.
• Support growth by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
• Maintain proposal resources, templates, and capability statements.
• Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance in line with company policy.
