EROAD Ltd in Auckland is seeking a BI Engineer (Semantic Modelling & Reporting) to shape the next generation of its analytics capability. You will own the modelling layer and deliver trusted data assets across the business.

Work with data engineers, analytics specialists and product managers in a pragmatic agile analytics team, partnering with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver valuable business insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BI engineering, analytics engineering, data warehousing or similar modelling role.
• Hands-on experience delivering dimensional and semantic models for enterprise reporting.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD.

Responsabilités

• Own the dimensional and semantic modelling layer across analytics assets.
• Design star schemas, fact and dimension tables, and conformed dimensions.
• Shape the Gold-layer data models powering enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Write and optimise SQL across varied data formats for modelling needs.
• Build and maintain Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines for BI development.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Work with data engineers, analytics specialists, cloud developers and product managers in an agile analytics team.
• Report to the Chapter Lead - Analytics and contribute to BI tooling modernisation.
