Job summary

EROAD in Auckland is seeking a Data & AI Consultant blending hands-on data engineering with internal consulting. You will own Power BI standards, build dbt pipelines and develop AI agents on Snowflake Cortex and CoWork to automate analytics use cases.

You’ll coach business users on self-service analytics, engage stakeholders, and translate needs into practical data and AI solutions across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Power BI reports and semantic models.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake and data warehousing concepts; dbt experience.
• Excellent communication with non-technical audiences; stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own Power BI standards and governance across the business, shaping how reports, dashboards and semantic models are built.
• Build and maintain dbt transformation pipelines that keep data reliable and ready for use.
• Build AI agents on Snowflake Cortex and CoWork to support new automation and analytics use cases.
• Act as an internal evangelist for self-service analytics, coaching business users on tools and best practice.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to translate their needs into practical data and AI solutions.
